Springfields Events & Conference Centre is owned by the charity, Springfields Horticultural Society, which directs all of its funds towards the maintenance of its 15 acre show gardens and keeps them free to enter for the use of the local community and visitors, promoting the area’s bulb growing heritage (particularly daffodils and tulips) as well as encouraging people to take up gardening as a means of relaxation and healthy living.
All profits from the trading activities of the Centre are gift-aided to the Society to help with the costs of maintaining the gardens. Anyone attending events or holding parties, weddings or conferences at the Centre is therefore helping to keep the Gardens as a significant local amenity, which is open for people of all ages to enjoy 364 days a year.
The Centre has direct access through to the 15 acres of Springfields Festival Gardens as well as a children’s Play Barn and Adventure Golf, a garden centre with restaurant and a shopping village with 55 Outlet stores situated next to the Centre. There is a 43 bedroom Travelodge hotel on the Springfields site and The Kitchen Pub restaurant.
